LOST DOG CAFE
Tucked away on a side street at Folly Beach, about a 20 min drive from downtown, a lovely cafe is serving up one of the best breakfast in Charleston. This laid back beach cafe has been a staple for locals for over 20 years. The walls are covered in dog photos and you may be able to spot some happy pups sitting outside on the patio enjoying treats, while their humans enjoy their scrumptious breakfast. If you want to minimize your wait time, make sure you arrive by 8:00 am. If you are waiting on a table, go inside and get yourself a coffee or mimosa from the walk up bar while you wait. Millers is relatively newcomer to the breakfast scene in Charleston, but quickly has made a name for themselves. Centrally located on King Street, Millers is an easy stop as you are exploring the shops. They offer a variety of options from biscuit dishes, shrimp n grits, and healthy yogurt bowls, there is a menu item for anyone. HALLS CHOPHOUSE
If you find yourself in downtown Charleston on a Sunday, then you need to get a table at Halls Chophouse for their Sunday Gospel Brunch. The music and atmosphere are lively and the food is delicious. When planning your trip to Charleston make a reservation here at least 1.5 months in advance. If you are strolling the streets and want to pop in for brunch, the bar area is first come first serve for small groups of 4 or less. The service is wonderful and the steak omelette is top notch.
